Last week, Parks and Public Works staff worked with the Community Services Department and the Old Guard to help prepare the bus stop site at the northwest corner of Huntington Drive and Sierra Madre Boulevard for the assembly of the Holiday House.
Public Works staff completed mowing and edging of the location and provided staff assistance during the assembly of the structure, which is a traditional centerpiece of San Marino during the holiday season.
Join city officials this Friday, December 8 from 5pm to 7pm for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Mayor’s Reception to honor the 71-year history of the Holiday House Bus Shelter. The event is FREE and open to the public. Everyone is invited and welcome to come out and celebrate the holidays.
Happy Holidays San Marino!
