Dear San Marino Unified School District Students, Families, and Community,
I am thrilled to share that our San Marino High School Robotics Team, led by the exceptional Mr. Scott Barton, made it to the 2024 FIRST World Championship Tournament, which took place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
This prestigious event brought together approximately 50,000 people from around the world, as hundreds of student robotics teams put their innovation, teamwork, and robotics skills to the test.
We are incredibly proud of our SMHS Titanium Robotics team for their remarkable achievement. Their dedication, hard work, and passion for robotics have truly set them apart, and their success is a testament to the strength, support, and spirit of our community.
Our team was even featured on KCAL 9 and CBS 2 May 29, 2024 in a news segment, highlighting their journey and accomplishments.
