San Marino Varsity and JV Cheer participated in the annual Mud Girl Run in Castaic Lake the weekend of October 1. 2023. They ran 3 miles and completed all 17 obstacles while getting dirty for cancer research!

The organization calls it a uniting and empowering experience called MUDGIRL. It consists of 3 miles and 17+ obstacles that they say are achievable by all. The SMHS cheerleaders faced mud, obstacles, and inflatables in an atmosphere surrounded by women of all ages and fitness levels.
