The City of San Marino is excitedly moving toward the completion of the renovation of the San Marino Community Center. As one of the first steps to the re-opening of the building, the Recreation Division of the Community Services Department will be moving their headquarters from the Stoneman Building to their new offices at the San Marino Community Center.
The Recreation Division will continue to operate at the Stoneman Building until 11 AM on Friday, September 1. Beginning Tuesday, September 5 at 7 AM, the Office will reopen at the San Marino Community Center – 1800 Huntington Drive.
Community Services Director Cathi Johnson said, “The Recreation Customer Service office relocation is an exciting step towards the grand opening of our beautifully-renovated, centrally-located program and event space. We’re equally thrilled that the San Marino Community Center will complement the Crowell Public Library to create a true Community Services Campus that will surely become a beloved community gathering place.”
Recreation Division staff is eager to continue premier service in their new headquarters and gear up for the Grand Opening of the building, anticipated to take place September 28 at 5:15 PM.
“I hope that you will all join me in celebrating the grand opening of our renovated San Marino Community Center,” said Mayor Steve Talt. “We have long awaited the conclusion of all of the hard work that has gone into this renovation and I am excited to welcome the community to connect in a facility it can be proud of.”
