To kick off the holiday season, the inaugural San Marino Art Fair, a two-day event, will be held November 4-5, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at San Marino High School on the gated quad. Parking and admission are free.
Artists from all over Southern California will exhibit original hand-crafted sculpture, furniture, paintings, ceramics, mosaics, textiles, glassware, jewelry, handbags, metal work, pottery, wood, photography, and handmade and embellished apparel.
Visitors are invited to admire and purchase art and gifts from forty exhibitors from all over Southern California. The San Marino Art Fair is the brainchild of SMHS teacher and Rotarian, Denise Wadsworth. All proceeds benefit San Marino High School Rotary Interact Club scholarships, local and international service projects, and Rotary Club of San Marino Charities.
The San Marino Art Fair will run rain or shine. Wadsworth, always on the lookout for a teachable moment adds “Supporting entrepreneurship is a pillar of Rotary. Our high school Interact Club members are learning the foundations of creating a small business by presenting this show highlighting professional artists and crafters who find joy in creating art as their vocation.”
San Marino High School is located at 2701 Huntington Dr., San Marino. For questions or further information please visit our San Marino Art Fair website: www.sanmarinoartfair.com.
