Brady Beck completed 18 of 28 passes for 326 yards and four touchdowns as San Marino High School’s varsity football team defeated Rosemead last Friday evening by a final score of 42-6 to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Mikey Yessaian caught four of Beck’s offerings for 44 yards, including a long gain of 15 yards.
But Coleman Morning may have provided the biggest play of the game when he scampered 51 yards with a fake punt with 6:31 remaining in the third quarter to give the Titans an insurmountable lead.
Sid Danenhauer caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown. J.J. Wilson, Ryan Park and Clement Truong also made scoring catches for the Titans. Morning added another rushing touchdown aside from the fake punt to cap the scoring and ended the game with 14 carries for 169 yards on the ground.
San Marino’s offensive line put together a solid performance as Mitchell Mooney, Gannon Gill, Reef Stark-Moniz and Rahwish Siddiqi were credited with pancake blocks for the Titans.
San Marino returns home this Friday, September 8, when San Marino faces off with Crescenta Valley High School at 7:00p.m. at Titan Stadium.
