- Know the warning signs: Learn to recognize red flags such as controlling behavior, excessive jealousy, threats, or pressure, which can signal an unhealthy relationship.
- Promote healthy relationships: Encourage respect, open communication, boundaries, and consent as the foundation of all relationships.
- Speak up and seek help: Remind teens that dating violence is never their fault and that trusted adults, counselors, or helplines can provide support.

The Department maintains and regularly updates a comprehensive list of locations identified through traffic complaints and collision data to inform and prioritize enforcement efforts. As part of our traffic collision investigations, we also assess contributing factors that may have played a role in the incident. These factors may include distracted driving, roadway engineering, and environmental conditions.

Party #2 was traveling North on Rose Avenue and came to a complete stop at the intersection. Party #1 was traveling West on Duarte Road and failed to stop at the posted stop sign, colliding with Party #2’s vehicle. After the collision, Party #1 continued traveling West on Duarte Road and fled the scene without providing any identifying information. The primary collision factor is CVC §20002(a) – Hit and Run.

A records check revealed the driver is in violation of CVC §14601.2(a) – Driving with a Suspended License for DUI. Dariel Asuncion Guzman Juarez (D.O.B. 10/09/1996, El Monte) was issued an Own Recognizance citation and released in the field without incident.

1:01 PM / Arrest / Huntington Drive / Virginia Road
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation. During the investigation, it was determined the vehicle had been reported stolen by a rental car company. A records check revealed the driver was in violation of CVC §10855(a) – Embezzled Vehicle. Helen Heranush Madenjian (D.O.B. 12/12/1967, Los Angeles) was issued an Own Recognizance citation and released in the field without incident.
2:29 PM / Found Property / 2700 Block of Gainsborough Drive
A mobile hotspot and external battery pack were located in bushes in front of the victim’s residence. The items were wrapped in camouflage material and concealed within the shrubbery. Both items were collected and stored as evidence.

Party #1 was traveling North on Los Robles Avenue in the #2 lane, while Party #2 was traveling North in the #1 lane. Party #1 merged into the #1 lane and collided with Party #2’s vehicle. The primary collision factor is CVC §22107 – Unsafe Lane Change.

3:14 AM / Arrest / Woodlawn Avenue / San Gabriel Boulevard
Officers conducted a traffic stop for a violation of San Marino Municipal Code §15.07.23 – Prohibited Parking During Overnight Hours. During the investigation, the driver lowered the vehicle’s windows, at which time officers observed glass pipes commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. The driver provided consent to search for the vehicle, and officers located additional glass pipes inside. Based on these observations, the driver was determined to be in violation of H&S – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jonathan Phillippe Ma (D.O.B. 06/10/1981, San Gabriel) was issued an Own Recognizance citation and released in the field without incident.

A vehicle was impounded for expired registration over six (6) months.
4:00 PM / Residential Burglary / 2200 Block of Huntley Circle
Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the residence by opening a bathroom window and unlocking a rear door. Officers observed a closet door open with clothing displaced and left on the floor. Officers conducted a canvass of the surrounding area to identify potential witnesses and recover any available security camera footage. This investigation is ongoing.
