The Pasadena Symphony’s annual Holiday Candlelight concert returns to All Saints Church on Saturday, December 16, 2023 with performances at 4:00pm & 7:00pm. Pasadena’s most sought-after event of the season has become a cherished community tradition and sells out quickly. The architecturally exquisite and acoustically sonorous All Saints Church, Pasadena’s equivalent of a European cathedral, provides the perfect setting to immerse yourself in a holiday wonderland among an array of hand bells and choruses, with Pasadena’s premiere orchestra.
Artistic Partner Jenny Wong returns to lead the orchestra and returning favorites LA Bronze Handbell Ensemble, the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, the Donald Brinegar Singers and JPL Chorus. Currently Associate Director of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Wong was also recently appointed as Chorus Director of the San Francisco Symphony. Internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and recording artist Jamal Moore will take center stage to sing timeless favorites including O Holy Night and The Christmas Song. A regular collaborator with Beyoncé, Moore has performed at Coachella, the Kobe & Gianna Bryant Memorial service and on Disney’s The Lion King soundtrack, and has toured globally with Kanye West and the Backstreet Boys. Audiences will also enjoy music from The Nutcracker, plus My Favorite Things, We Need a Little Christmas, Hallelujah! and more, sure to warm their hearts with holiday cheer.
Fully-reserved seating is available to purchase throughout the lavish All Saints Church, specially fitted with festive floral and decorations, all under the glow of candlelight.
