Sophomore Essien Gagnon finished 5th with a time if 16:34. Unfortunately, Gagnon suffered a high ankle sprain on the last sprint of the race, but hopes to make it back for CIF this Saturday.
Sophomore Kayla Giddings finished 6th in last Thursday’s Rio Hondo League cross-country race in Lacy Park on November 2, 2023. Giddings traversed the three-mile course in 19:05, qualifying her for 1st-team all-Rio Hondo League and placing her in the CIF individual preliminaries.
