The San Marino Police Department successfully located a missing person on Friday, June 7. 41-year-old Kou Chngjun was found safe by San Marino Police Officers after going missing on Tuesday, July 5. Chongjuin had left her house without informing family members where she was going.
“She was not a victim of a crime or anything,” said San Marino Chief of Police John Incontro.
“We utilized good detective work,” said Incontro. “We interviewed family members and other involved persons. We used technology through tracking phones and other devices. We determined who was inolved and we were able to find her.”
Incontro said that several officers came in during off hours “and pitched in together. I am very proud.”
Changjun was last seen at her Duarte Road residence on Wednesday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. She was found on Friday morning at 11:15 a.m.

The San Marino Police Department is seeking help in locating a missing person: Kou Changjun, a 41 year-old female Asian, 5’10” tall, 140 lbs, black hair and dark eyes.
Kou Changjun was last seen at her residence on Duarte Road in the City of San Marino on 07/05/23 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Her clothing is unknown.
