Barbara Kral, born in San Francisco on March 1st 1941 to the late Milla and Milan Vucurevich, she courageously fought a long battle with Leukemia until she peacefully passed away on July 22nd.

Barbara’s journey took a beautiful turn when she attended a Serbian New Year’s Eve dance at Saint Steven’s Cathedral while studying at Santa Monica City College. It was at this event that she met Paul, her future husband, and they fell in love at first sight and were married the following November.

Barbara is survived by her husband Paul and their children, Kim (Stew Jr) Leonard of Westport, CT, and Robert (Christy) Kral of Heath, TX. Barbara celebrated the joy of having seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, with another one on the way. An active and engaged individual, Barbara contributed her time and efforts to various organizations, including the Arcadia Methodist Auxiliary,

Keck/USC Norris Cancer Hospital auxiliary, Saint Steven’s Cathedral Women’s Auxiliary, San Marino League, and Assistance League of Pasadena. She was known for her warm hospitality and enjoyed hosting many dinner parties in her home.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 31st, at 11:00 am at Saint Steven’s Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, located at 1621 W. Garvey Ave, Alhambra, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that all donations be made to the Stew Leonard III Water Safety Foundation, which aims to prevent tragedies like the drowning accident that claimed Barbara’s grandson Stewie’s life in 1989. Donations can be made at www.stewietheduck.org.
