The Crowell Public Library in the City of San Marino will host free community health screenings with Huntington Nurses on the second Wednesday of every month. The next session takes place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Barth Community Room.
The program offers free blood pressure and glucose screenings, essential tools for the prevention and early detection of “silent killer” diseases such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.
Community members planning to have their glucose levels checked are advised to fast for at least two hours beforehand for more accurate results. No registration is required, and all are welcome to attend.
These monthly screenings emphasize the importance of preventive care and early detection in supporting long-term health and well-being.
