San Marino residents can take proactive steps toward better health with free monthly health screenings provided by Huntington Nurses, starting Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The screenings will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. every second Wednesday of the month at the Barth Community Room.
Screenings for Blood Pressure and Glucose Levels
Participants can receive blood pressure and glucose evaluations, which aid in the prevention and early detection of major health issues such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes—often referred to as “silent killer” diseases due to their lack of early symptoms.
No Registration Required
Residents planning to have their glucose checked are advised to fast for at least two hours beforehand. No registration is required, and the screenings are open to the public.
The City encourages the community to take advantage of this valuable resource for monitoring and managing personal health.
