Embodying a More Settled State | Workshop with Chantal Donnelly and Heidi Pidcoke

After reading Chantal Donnelly’s book Settled: How to Find Calm in a Stress-Inducing World, seasoned trauma psychotherapist Heidi Pidcoke knew she had stumbled on a great resource for her patients. She began recommending the book to stressed clients and found that the techniques helped them significantly. She knew that her knowledge and education complimented Donnelly’s and she decided to contact the author with the hopes that they could collaborate. Upon meeting, the two immediately hit it off and their new workshop “Embodying a More Settled State” was born.

Pidcoke and Donnelly combined their decades of experience in the fields of psychology, physical therapy, as well as stress and trauma, to create a life-changing workshop for anyone looking for a deeper sense of well-being and happiness.

“If you have tried everything – meditation, supplements, counseling, and you are still drowning in stress, this workshop offers a completely new approach to understanding yourself, your behaviors, and those around you.” Donnelly notes. This understanding, which she calls “Stress Fluency,” will help participants regain a sense of ease and vitality.

The workshop is an interactive, experiential, and soul-filling 2-day retreat in Pasadena, CA, designed to help those feeling stuck and overwhelmed by stress. Participants will learn novel ways to increase their abilities to manage life’s challenges. They will walk away with specific tools to regulate their nervous systems, break old patterns, stay in the present moment, and improve relationship dynamics.

It will take place on October 18th and 19th, 2024, at All Saints Church in Pasadena. The cost is $335 per person.
